Emilee Sharp

Ring Leader at a circus

Emilee lives in Preston, Idaho and is a wife and mother. She has four beautiful children.

Sexual violence is extremely prevalent in our society. According to rainn.org, 1 out of 6 American women has been the victim of an attempted or completed rape in her lifetime. That is an extremely high number. An unfortunately and unacceptably high number. So the odds are you, or someone close to you, has been the victim of sexual violence.

You are not alone. If you haven’t gotten the help you need, please do. If you need extra help or just want to talk to women who understand, there’s quite a few women who have been on the podcast, including Emilee, who I could put you into contact with. Just please, know that there are people out there who understand and want to help you.

And the same goes for depression, including postpartum depression. Whatever you need help with, please get what you need. You are amazing and irreplaceable. So stay. Do whatever you need to do to stay. Just please stay. The world would not be the same without you.

Join the new Scars We Share Facebook Group here. Some of the guests who have been on the podcast will be a part of the group. You can ask more questions, give encouragement, get encouragement, and just be vulnerable. It’ll be a group where you basically get more of the show, but where you can interact and be a part of it.
