Doug Lawrence is the President of TalentC-People Services Inc. He is an International Certified Competent Mentor.

Doug is an amazing man and we had such a wonderful time talking. Mental health is so important but is often left by the wayside and ignored. Doug absolutely understands this and does everything he can to help others. Something he spoke about that I especially loved was that he can’t fix people. He can’t fix his mentees. He can only give them the tools to help themselves.

So it is with everyone. You can’t look to someone else to fix you. You have to learn and do the best you can to change yourself. Which is hard work. Hard. Work. It is not easy to take charge of your mental health and wellness. Because then you have to confront the difficult parts of yourself and your life and work through them. That’s a painful thing to do. But it is oh so, so worth it.
